The SV07 is Sovol's "speed" bed slinger: a classic moving bed, but running Klipper, with a direct-drive extruder, all-metal hotend and auto leveling — aiming at 500 mm/s. The SV07 Plus takes the same formula in a larger volume, with revised cooling and power.
Between the SV06 (the do-it-all open-source) and the SV08 (large-format CoreXY), the SV07 bets on Klipper speed in a bed slinger, at a contained price. Still open → PLA/PETG.

Strengths
- Klipper out of the box: input shaping, pressure advance, web interface — genuinely fast, not just a marketing number.
- All-metal direct drive: comfortable with PETG and TPU.

Limits
- No chamber: open → PLA/PETG; ABS/ASA warps.
- Bed slinger: at very high speed, less stable than an SV08 CoreXY.
- No built-in multicolor.
- Less "open" than the SV06: performance-oriented more than open-source tinkering.
SV07 vs SV07 Plus
Same DNA, two sizes. The SV07 (220 mm) is enough for most parts and costs less; the SV07 Plus (300 mm) adds volume and revised cooling/power, useful for large parts and heavy sessions. If you often print big, the Plus is worth it; otherwise the standard SV07 is the best speed/price.
