The Ender-3 V4 pushes the Ender formula into the modern era: it adds CFS multicolor, climbs to 500 mm/s thanks to input shaping, and rests on a more rigid one-piece gantry. It's the most polished Ender yet — the bridge between the pure budget (V3 SE) and the enclosed CoreXY machines.
The top of the Ender series. Above the V3 SE (single-color, slower). Still open and PLA/PETG-focused: for ABS/ASA, you need an enclosed machine (K1 and up).
In brief
Unveiled at Formnext 2025, the V4 keeps the Ender spirit — affordable, repairable, backed by a large community — and adds the color and speed expected in 2026. Budget ≈ $350 (the Combo version bundles the CFS).

Strengths
- Ender multicolor: the CFS finally reaches the Ender line.
- Real speed: 500 mm/s with input shaping, far from the old Enders.
- More rigid: one-piece gantry for cleaner walls at speed.
- Automation: auto leveling, touchscreen, immediate onboarding.
- Ender ecosystem: community, parts and upgrades aplenty.
Limits
- No chamber: PLA/PETG; ABS/ASA warps.
- Modest volume: 220 × 220 × 235 mm, average for an Ender.
- Multicolor waste: via the single-nozzle CFS (see the multicolor guide).
- Pricier than the V3 SE: you pay for color and speed.
V4 vs V3 SE
The V3 SE (~$199) is still unbeatable for getting started in single-color. The V4 (~$350) adds multicolor (CFS), input shaping (500 mm/s) and a more rigid gantry. If color and speed matter, the V4 justifies them; otherwise the V3 SE does the same basic job for far less.
Who's it for?
The V4 is the Ender for those who want color + speed without leaving the ecosystem or moving to a CoreXY. For the pure budget, the V3 SE; for "all comfort" color with more volume, the Creality Hi; for speed and technical materials, a K1. The full picture is in our Creality overview.
The Ender finally multicolor and fast — the best Ender to date, within the limits of PLA/PETG.
