The Plus 4 is QIDI's weapon for engineering materials. Where most consumer enclosed machines settle for passive heat, the Plus 4 packs an actively heated 65 °C chamber (2nd gen, 400 W) and a 370 °C nozzle — the combination that makes ABS, ASA, PA-CF and even PPS-CF genuinely reliable. All on a fast CoreXY at a contained price.
QIDI made its name as the "affordable high-temperature" brand. The Plus 4 is its showcase: it targets the technical parts that passive-heat enclosed machines (Bambu P1S, Creality K2) handle less well. It's not real PEEK, but it's the most accessible "almost PEEK."

Technical materials
This is the whole point. The actively heated chamber keeps a high, stable ambient temperature around the part: that's what prevents the warping and delamination of high-shrinkage materials (ABS, ASA, PC) and lets you exploit filled composites (PA-CF, PPS-CF). Paired with the 370 °C nozzle and 120 °C bed, the Plus 4 prints functional parts — brackets, mounts, load-bearing pieces — where a passive enclosed machine tops out.
Filled composites = a hardened nozzle is mandatory (abrasive) and the filaments are very hygroscopic, so dry them (see the humidity guide). For real PEEK, you need much hotter: see our PEEK guide.

Who's it for?
The Plus 4 is for those who want to print technical materials (ABS, ASA, PC, PA-CF, PPS-CF) reliably, without moving to a pro machine. If you stay on PLA/PETG and want the simplest ecosystem, a Bambu is enough; for color, look at Creality; for very high temperature, PEEK. Also compare with the Q2 (cheaper) and the X-Max 3 (larger).
The most accessible "technical materials" enclosed machine: heated chamber + 370 °C for functional parts, without a pro budget.
